If you’re noticing unusual throttle or brake response on your GT or GTX board, doing a trigger reset on your WiFi Phaze remote can help recalibrate the input range for smoother performance.
🔧 Step-by-step: Accessing the trigger reset screen
Make sure the board is OFF and the remote is ON
Double-click the ON/OFF button to open the menu
Scroll down to ‘More Info’ using the DOWN/MODE2 button
Click the ON/OFF button to enter the ‘More Info’ screen
With the Product ID showing, do the following:
Double-click the ON/OFF button
Then quadruple-click the DOWN/MODE2 button (4 quick presses)
You should now see the trigger calibration page
🎯 Setting the trigger values
Accelerator (Throttle):
Make sure ‘Change ACC Pol’ shows a minus symbol (–)
If it shows a (+), click ON/OFF once to toggle it
Use DOWN/MODE2 to highlight ‘Set Acc Min’ (it will turn red)
Pull the accelerator trigger all the way in, then click ON/OFF to set it
Release the trigger
With ‘Set Acc Max’ highlighted, pull the trigger in slightly
The ‘Acc Trigger’ value at the top should be about 100 below the resting value
While holding, click ON/OFF, then release
Brake:
Make sure ‘Change Brake Pol’ shows a plus symbol (+)
If it shows a (–), click ON/OFF once to toggle it
Highlight ‘Set Brake Min’
Push the brake trigger in slightly (target value ~100–150 below rest), then click ON/OFF
Highlight ‘Set Brake Max’
Push the brake trigger all the way in, then click ON/OFF again
🔚 Final steps
Highlight the ‘Return’ line and click ON/OFF to exit
Turn the remote off
Turn the board on, then turn the remote on
Pair them:
If they don’t pair automatically, hold the UP/MODE1 button until the WiFi symbol starts flashing
