Whether you have Relay hubs (used on GTR Series 1) or Surge hubs (used on later models), both use the same size Allen key to remove the hub screws.

You’ll need a 1/8" (one-eighth inch) Allen key.

This is the standard size for removing the bolts that hold the hub together when changing the inner tube or tyre.

🪛 Where to get one

• A 1/8" Allen key is included in the toolkit that comes with your board.

• If you’ve misplaced it, you can find one at any hardware store or in most standard tool kits.

💡 Quick tip

When reinstalling the hub screws, tighten them evenly in a crisscross pattern to make sure the hub sits flush and seals correctly around the tube.
